Bought this kit back in the 1980's when it was "The Gould Co.". Finally got around to it (2017). What a pleasure to build. Finished except for decals. If your eyes are old like mine, be sure you have magnification and ample light. Price the same today as 30 years ago. When gluing the ends on, be sure the hole for the end railing (to be added later) lines up with the holes for the railing on the sides.

Just finished another one!Again a great kit-if something does not fit -YOU are doing something wrong!Just like the crane ,tender and the other tank car =satisfaction guaranteed-worth every penny!

These tank car kits are amazing. Purchased the 6 pack and was not disappointed. The instructions are detailed, the kit is well thought out and goes together beautifully. I would argue that they are "easier" to build then the USRA kits too. Once assembled and painted they look incredible. I have some older Proto 2000 kits and they don't even compare to these models. Highly recommended.

Great kit, a pleasure to build. All parts fit perfect, and very little clean up of parts needed before assembly. Would love to see more kits.
